    Tasha Plummer as Marie

    Natasha is a musical theatre performer who began training at the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Leicester (PQA) at the age of 12 and continued until 18. She also studied Performing Arts at the University of Gloucestershire where she graduated in 2020 with a first-class honour’s degree. Appearing in many productions and performances during her training, Natasha has a wide range of experiences both on stage and screen. In 2018, Natasha was the featured monologist in ‘How Will You hear Me? – Jenny’s Story’, an educational short film based on real experiences with the social services. However, musical theatre has always been her favourite discipline, with her theatre credits including Tilly in ‘The Waterbabies’, Pauline Gower in ‘Into the Blue’, Penny in ‘Hairspray’ and Angel Applewood in ‘The Lazy Ace’, that was performed at the former ‘Her Majesty’s Theatre’ in London’s West End. Most recently and since returning to Leicester, Natasha’s theatre credits include Phyllis in ‘42nd Street’ and Charity, one of Reno’s Angels, in ‘Anything Goes’. She has also returned to PQA Leicester as a teaching assistant and cover musical theatre teacher. Her directing and choreography credits with PQA include assistant director for their summer 2023 musical ‘Elf’ and Christmas 2022 musical ‘High School Musical’, and assistant choreographer for their Christmas 2021 musical ‘Ten’. She is also lined up to choreograph their summer 2023 musical ‘Annie’ in August.


    Joshua Taylor-Williams as Marcus

    Joshua is really excited to be playing the role of Marcus again in Summer 2024 having played the character in the previous production. Joshua has appeared in productions such as The Little Mermaid as Sebastian, West Side Story as Tony and Busker in Lift to name a few. Joshua has also found success in his passion for writing having written and produced productions for Williams Creatives such as On the Surface, We Smile, What Did You Wish For, Miscast All Inclusive and of course Threads. Joshua was crowned the first Star of Musical Con in 2022 and went on to make his West End Debut in West End Musical Christmas in December 2022. Since then Joshua has gone on to continue writing plays and productions for Williams Creatives and as of August 2023, became the proud owner of Stirling Murder LTD with his husband. Joshua will Direct Beautiful: A Carole King Story for Knighton Park Amateur Operatic Society in November 2024.


    Matt Brown as Richard

    Acting has always been a passion for Matt’s life for as long as he can remember. With a BTEC and BA Hons in performing arts, Matt has been determined to make a life out of performing. Has been a member of the Leicester Drama Society and has had leading roles in amateur theatre, such as Hamlet, Captain Lombard in And Then There Were None and Gregor in Metamorphosis. Matt has performed in many musicals too. He has been credited as Bill Sykes in Oliver, Big Jule in Guys & Dolls and the Black Knight in Spamalot. Also, he has been a part of several independent short films and let his voice to the voice acting community. Matt has starred in many productions with WC including taking over the role of Richard in an emergency in last years show.


    Michael Holland as Thomas

    Michael is a seasoned performer having starred in many productions. Some of Michael’s credits include; Fiddler on the Roof, Midsummer Night’s Dream, It’s A Wonderful Life, Dick Barton, Single Spies. Michael joined Williams Creatives for their production of Miscast: All Inclusive playing the role Paulie to rave reviews. We are so excited that he has come back to play the complex character of Thomas and can’t wait for you to see it.


    Emily Woodall as Kayleigh

    Emily has been performing from a young age, being involved with various musicals, orchestras and dance performances. Emily is an avid musician, playing the clarinet, saxophone and piano among other instruments, as well as leading various choirs. She has been part of the chorus for various shows, including ‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘Musical Scrapbook’, ’42nd Street’ as well as having minor roles in ‘Aladdin’, ‘Anything Goes’ and most recently ‘Oliver’. Emily is currently playing Frenchy in ‘Grease’.


    Isla Singleton as Kathryn

    Isla attends the Curve Young Theatre Group, Birstall Theatre Group and Leicester Vocal Tech & Moving Together. She has been in several shows including Hairspray with Rare Productions. She enjoy all aspects of musical theatre and played Alice in Alice in Wonderland at the Y theatre in Leicester. Isla has gone on to become the first full time youth member of Williams Creatives, setting the bar for all to come with her incredible performance of Kathryn last year.


    Cassie Hobbs as Angelou

    Cassie is jumping back into the world of musical theatre after many years – her most recent acting role was as King Herod in the year 6 nativity! She has played the bassoon since the age of 8, and in her teen years played lead bassoon in several orchestras including the Wessex Youth Orchestra, as well as for the school production of “Oliver” and Aylesbury Music Centre’s “HMS Pinafore”. In the last two years she has become a proud member of the Leicester LGBT Centre Choir, The Pantones.


    David Jones as David

    Although coming to acting late, David has enjoyed many varied roles with the LDS, including Allo Allo , The Weir, Wyrd Sisters, Single Spies, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Pitmen Painters and Up n Under, at the Little Theatre. And When We Are Married and Goodnight Mr., Tom with the Coalville Drama Group. Taming Of The Shrew and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with NQSC. David has also performed in many pantomimes as the resident dame for Birstall Theatre Company. David was in last years production of Threads and loved it so much he just had to come back!


    John-Joseph Boyle as Gareth

    A Scriptwriter by day, Digital Artist by Night, John knows the importance of using exciting media and visuals to reach our audiences. Alongside writing, John has a strong resume of acting roles, having appeared in ‘And then There were None’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘Waiting for Godot’ and starred in ‘Duality’ which was co-written with Joshua Taylor-Williams.


    Sarah Brown as Pamela

    Sarah has been a part of the Leicester musical theatre “scene” for all of her adult life! She has performed in the ensemble for many shows with Wigston Amateur Operatic Society, from Carousel to Ghost, and played The Rose Seller in Oliver! She also sings with The Singers Club and Leicester LGBT Centre’s choir, The Pantones. Sarah is our Diversity and Inclusivity Lead here at Williams Creatives and has been leading the social media reach for this years production of Threads!


    River Field as Rocco

    River has been a singer since she was old enough to talk, having been a soprano in a choir throughout childhood and recently picking it back up again in the last two years.
    She is a Shakespeare fan, and while at university played Balthazar in the English Literature production of Romeo and Juliet. Threads is her first foray into musical theatre, though her mum and grandad’s love of it meant she grew up knowing all of the words to Phantom of the Opera.


    Acorn Walker as Priest

    Acorn started acting in secondary school, playing ensemble parts in ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz’, as well as achieving a level 2 BTEC GCSE in Performing Arts. Acorn then joined Birstall Theatre Company, playing ensemble in ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ and ‘Aladdin’ and their first principle part of Trixie in ‘Robin Hood’.


    Sienna Barnes as Fiona

    Sienna Barnes is an emerging talent in the Leicester theatre scene, rapidly making her mark with a passion for performance and an undeniable stage presence. As a full-time youth member of Williams Creatives, Sienna’s dedication and enthusiasm have shone through since her debut in Miscast: Encore!, where she captivated audiences with her dynamic energy and versatility. Sienna’s journey with Williams Creatives didn’t stop there. She eagerly embraced the opportunity to be part of Threads, where she continues to showcase her talent and commitment to the craft. Her love for 80’s music has been a perfect match for the vibrant and nostalgic themes of the production, allowing her to fully immerse herself in the era’s iconic sound and style.
